Rachel had never been a big fan of horses, or any animal bigger than a dog for that matter, but she had made a promise to herself, before senior year came to an end. Try something she would never be caught doing. This was that 'something.' She would never be caught dead near a horse. Sure they looked gentle, but she knew how some horses could be just from stories she had heard.
Having left the house in a pair of jeans, and a white t-shirt, Rachel didn't exactly look like the kind of girl preparing herself for a horse back ride through Crystal Falls. But then again, its not like she owned a set of proper attire for the events to come.
The stables were located on the outskirts of town where there were less people, more trees and alot more room to move. More room to gallop thought Rachel to herself uneasily as she had got into her car and drove off. A mere half hour later, she had arrived at Sally's Saddles. A rough looking place with a small cabin where the office was located, two stables holding the horses, and a red barn nearby where all the equipment was held.
"Well at least it doesn't look scary..." Said Rae to herself as she got out of her car, leaving her bag behind, then walked off in the direction of the stables. She had been told to meet a guy going by the name of Mike, in stable one, in order to learn the basics of riding a horse. It couldn't be that hard could it? Nah.
Entering the stable, Rae looked around. Not all the stalls had a horse in them, but most did, and standing in front of one, was a man who Rachel could only guess was Mike.
"Excuse me I'm looking for Mike Rich..." But before she could finish explaining who she was looking for, the guy in front of her turned around. Who she had thought was Mike was in fact someone else. Someone Rachel knew as a good friend of hers...
