Essie came to the Zoo for no praticular reason, and it seemed that she had planned a friend to see her here too of course. The only question was why the Zoo of all places? She could have picked a better place than that, but she hadn't, and she would have Rachel by her side probably asking the same question in her head. Maybe it was just for the sake of being different today since she felt like doing something that she didn't normally do.
She was sitting at the enterance waiting for her friend, and writing in her notebook, which you could see her writing in almost all of the time. She was wearing a greenish-blue top with dark jeans that day, and she had just picked it, because of the mood she had been at the time.
((Bad post, but I'm tried, lol))

This was the second time in a week at which Rachel had found herself in the last place she least expected to be. The zoo. Earlier that week she had been at the marina with Haley, but found herself in such a predicament that they were there no longer than ten minutes at the most. Now she was paying her way into the zoo to meet up with Essie. The one person Rachel knew she could count on to have fun with even if they were here to look at a bunch of lazy animals.
Having payed the entrance fee, Rachel made her way through one of the gates at the entrance of the park and headed inside, looking here and there for her friend.

She looked around for a little bit and saw someone that was familiar pay at the entrance, and then head inside and they seemed to be looking around for somebody. Deciding to check to see if it was Rachel she headed in the direction of the enterance; finding that it was indeed her friend Rachel Stone. Having her notebook that she had ealier in her pocket and everything else ready to go she gave her friend a grin.
"Oh and if it isn't Miss. Rachel Stone?" She said joking at the greeting that she start off with, and the greeting was in the least likely of places. "How are you today?" The tone in her voice was cheerful and alive, and she knew why was probably because she had been enjoying her day even before she had arrived there.

It wasn't long before Rachel heard the familiar voice of her friend Essie coming from behind her as she had stepped through the gate to the zoo. It wouldn't at all have been hard to find her either, but considering there were hundereds of people all gathered in one area, it wasnt as easy as it first seemed.
Turning on her heel, Rachel came to fast the enthusiastic features of Essie Anderson. "Hey Ess. Long time no see. I'm...hot. How bout you?" She gave a smile, moving to stand next to her friend, out of the way of passers by. The sun was high in the sky and threatened to scorch anyone who wasnt properly prepared for the heat.

Essie smile stayed at the sight of her friend turning her heel to look at the newly arrived her. "Yeah it is a little bit hot, but beggers aren't choosers!" At this she knew that the whole time her cheerful tone stayed, because even though it was hot the day was actually not that bad in other ways. It was the classic scene for the both of them, but they didn't mind it.
She looked around the area a little bit as they got out of the way of the passers by who had just paid their way into the Zoo. "Any exciting plans for you Rach?" That was a question that just came from the top of her head, and she decided to ask it. Most of the time she trusted her head, and said what she had to say, but it wasn't like her brain told her to let out her secrets everyday either.

A little hot? Rachel was burning up. She had chosen to wear her lightest pair of capris, but it didnt help much that they were black in color, but on the other hand she had put on a white tank top. The perfect outfit for any hot day, but when the sun was beating down on you from all directions, the last thing Rachel needed to add to her outfit were her black sun shades, which she just happened to have placed over her eyes as Essie spoke.
Giving a smirk, the senior simply shook her head, "Nah...No plans. Just going with the flow I guess...What about you?" She began to walk through the crowd of people as the area around them seemed to get more packed by the minute.

Of course it was probably pretty hot out, but she was at the moment able to ingore that fact well enough. Why? Well that was probably a question that was running through this girl's head as she decided on the next thing to say to her friend.
"Well, I don't have anything planned really, I'll just do whatever come into my head." That sounded just like Essie, and she loved having fun, and all of that, but she found times where being serious was the best thing to do. Like the classroom. But maybe that was the way that it was meant to happen, or maybe not; sometimes she just wasn't sure.
((Another horrible post, lol))

With a slight laugh, Rachel nodded, "Fun ain't it?" This of course was a sarcastic statement, proving that although Rachel went with the flow of things, sometimes having plans worked to her advantage, "I was actually supposed to meet Craig later...For old times sake...But I dunno, hes probably out with Haley or something." She shrugged, sticking her hands into the small back pockets on her capris, "So what do you think will happen this year? You know...CF always has to have one of those dramatic fall outs...." Rachel's eyes slowely wandered around from cage to cage as she spoke.

She laughed a little bit at her friend's sarcasm, and that was the normal Rachel that she knew, and she didn't mind it all that much either. "Yes, it is actually." She said this before looking at some of the animals that were in the cages. "Ah well, Craig is like that." Shrugging a little bit herself she looked at Rachel for a couple of seconds before she looked at the zoo animals again. "I've actually enjoyed these four years of peace actually. Where I used to live there was action very day, but it sure was not very fun." In fact she had remembered that it had been very hectic and that was part of the reason her parents and her moved here.

"Peace? Well look whos the lucky one!" Rachel exclaimed with a laugh as she studied the look her friend possessed as she said all this, "Believe me...My years been far from peaceful...I guess it just comes wih the territory though. As soon as senior year is done...Im outta here. Theres only so much you can handle, only so much you can do and only so many places to go...Crystal Falls doesn't have much to offer to me anymore." She explained about her own situation.

"Well, I just consider it peace because things were a lot worse there than it is here." After this she shrugged a little bit and looked some more at some of the animals and she knew that she had a hard time talking about her past to other people. All she had told Rachel was that it had been pretty bad, and that she had hated going to school. "I can understand that and I am probably never going to leave here unless something really bad happens and then I might." Smiling a little bit she knew that Rachel had good reasons for moving out of there and she had good reasons for staying as well.
