Haley opened the door to the 7/11 and headed straight for the spirits aisle. Everything sucked and right now she only had one thing on her mind, it was totally out of character but then Haley hadnt been herself in a long time. She reached for a bottle of vodka and headed towards the cash register, she had her eyes down on the floor when she felt herself bump into someone, "sorry" she mumbled wihtout looking up

"no its umm...its cool Hales" he said looking down to her with somewhat of a smile. he could tell Haley was hurting from this and it was Luke's fault. he didnt know how to cheer her up but only to make her feel a bit worse. looking in her hand as he saw the vodka bottle he shook his head quikly grabbing it fro mher "dont do it Hales...your better than that"

Haley looked up and saw it was Luke, "Oh...hey..." she managed to mumble, she looked him in the eye when he took her bottle she snatched it back from him "who says im better we both know thats not true"

"Luke ive lost my best friend and things with us will never be the same, why have I become such a bitch..." she looked around searching for something else to ease the pain. She wanted alcohol, ice cream just didnt seem to go it anymore.

"Says who..." she returned to the spirit aisle and grabbed a bottle of tequila, before Luke could stop her she went to the register flashed her fake ID paid up and headed for the door.

Luke ran after her as he watched her make a huge mistake. "Haley do you not remember how all of this happened? do not remember!!" he said looking down at her hand "thats how it all started and your willing to do it again because i dont think you are!"

"Then go home if your not around it wont happen and trust me im not making that same mistake again." she snapped back as she opened the bottle and took a swig, she scrunched up her face as the sharp intoxicating liquid burnt down her throat

Luke smirked at her "you know what fine! you want to see how bad life gets when your so down...not even your friend can help you stand tall..i'll show you" he yelled to her as he snatched the bottle from her grasp and chugged almost a fourth of it down. "Haley...im not going to let you through your life away because of something stupid like this!" taking another drink as he finished off another fourth of it. "im going to help you realize that life doesnt end when you lose a friend!"

Haley snatched the bottle of him and knocked back half of what was left, "Its not just one friend though is it and try living my life for one day, before I met Craig I was a nobody and thats who i'll be again now he's left me...you see the way those girls at school stand there pointing and laughing at me...im pathetic..." she knocked back some more of the drink as she felt it hit her system she could feel it burning her throat and he head began to spin

"Hales you have no idea what life is like when you have no power...no strength...no family..." he looked at her as he knocked the bottle out her hand letting it drop to the floor. "you dont realize how lucky you are to have a family...to have people around you that care for you!" he shook his head "Hales ive been there...ive been on my death bed and i dont want to go back and i dont wish it upon anyone either..."

"Luke what are you talking about" she snapped back her face covered by a look of confusion and regret. "Luke what arent you telling me..." she added this time more sincerely, what was going on why had she become this person and why was she pushing away those that cared about her
