{but you 'dont like change' lol}
If Rachel could make Jeremy feel something of all people, than it would be a miricle, and totally unexpected at that. But thats not what she was trying to prove. She was trying to prove that neither of them felt anything when they kissed. For only an instant, had Rachel felt something before she pulled away, feeling his hands slide down her hips.
"See?....Nothing..." Her face rest centimeters from his as she said this, and pulled away moments later to tuck her hair behind her ears, and fall back flat on her feet, "thirty seconds down...six minutes and thirty seconds of heaven left Jeremy." She let out a slight laugh keeping to her deal, which he haden't agreed on, but went with it all the same.

[my character you DUMMY! lol jk. god ure SLOW. NATHAN likes change...not JEREMY...jeesh stephy.]
Jeremy broke apart, and he noticed they both didnt feel a thing. Well, he tried as best as he could, and they both had no romantic feelings for each other. 'thirty seconds down...six minutes and thirty seconds of heaven left Jeremy', he heard her say. He thought she was just joking about that, but it appeared she wasnt. "Then what are we waiting for?" he asked. He pulled her back closer to him, his right hand placed on her lower back, and his other hands, gently on the back of her neck. He went back into the kiss immediately.

(im teasing you Nate!...you DUMMY lol...jeesh Natey...AND DID I GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO CALL ME STEPHY? NO lol)
Whether it be through a kiss, keeping a secret, or hiding anything at all, Rachel's friends had a way of making her cave. Craig had made her cave earlier that weak, forcing her to lie, but she had answered his question none the less. And at the moment, even if she haden't felt anything, Jeremy had made Rachel cave. She was in fact only joking about the 'six minutes and thirty seconds left in heaven' thing, but it was obvious he had taken her literally, when he pulled her back into him and kissed her again.
Feeling one hand on her lower back, and his other on the back of her neck, Rachel felt as if she was being held up by the guy, instincts kicking in, forcing her to place both her hands on either side of his torso. They weren't together, and Rachel didn't exactly enjoy the 'friends with benefits' relationship that they shared, so it was amazing how he could even manage to get her kiss him like this in the middle of the hallway when anyone at any moment could walk out and see them.

[lol STEPHY. I guess you havent noticed I called you STEPHY a couple of times before STEPHY....you i know luve ya]
When he was kissing her, he felt as if he couldnt do this with her anymore. It was feeling a little awkward now, and he felt that she didnt either want this kind of relationship. He broke apart from her and said, "Your my bestfriend and all, but you never kissed me like this when we went out," he told her. "You dont wanna do this, do you?" he asked her. He wanted a truthful answer obviously.

(well then Mr. Gangsta Pants...lol)
Feeling their lips part, it came as a slight relief, knowing that if Jeremy actually thought this was right and wanted it to happen, he wouldn't have done so. Removing her hands from his sides, and tucking her hair behind her ears she looked to one side of the hall, not making eye contact, "Well I can't say its at the top of my 'to-do list.'" She answered honestly, her eyes slowely make their way back to his, "And what do you mean? Never kissed you how when we were together?"

[weirdlo stephy!]
Jeremy laughed and backed up off of her. "Yea...but whenever you feel desperate and need someone to kiss, you know who to come to Rach," he joked. He though did fail to answer her next question. It wasnt that he didnt have an answer, but he didnt want to say it. "Nevermind...dont worry about it," he told her and smiled trying to make her reassured.

Narrowing her eyes, Rachel lifted her hand and punched Jeremy in the arm, "Desperate my ass!" She laughed, "Don't expect me to be coming to you very often then..." She was cut short when Jeremy failed to answer her question, "...You better answer me Jerry...." Rachel warned, lowering her arm wanting to know what he meant.

Jeremy rubbed the spot where she hit. "Damn Rach. You have one powerful swing," he joked. He smiled and thought of Rachel being desperate. It was hard to think of. A girl like her would catch a guy on the streets less than a minute. He looked at her and said, "I cant Rach, sorry," he said. "Forget about it...we're not going out, remember?"

Jeremy was a tough one to break. Sure if you were a girl you could make him do anything, but not being 'that' girl, Rachel found it harder than ever to get anything out of him anymore, "I can hit you harder if you like? That is if you don't answer me..." She was serious now, wanting to know what was going on through his mind. Rachel was a determined one, and when she was proven wrong, she tried as hard as she could to prove that she could in fact do better. She had a feeling this was one of those times. "If your saying that I kiss you better when were not dating than...Than I dunno..." She began and ended all in one sentence, avoiding eye contact, and instead looking at the floor. First he called her desperate now he was calling her a bad kisser? What was next?

Jeremy wasnt taking her seriously when she said this. And it was hard for a girl to hit him hard anyways, so she wasnt going to win this time. Well, that was what he thought then. He looked at her and listened to what she said. And she got exactly..well part of what he was trying to say, but he didnt answer her. "Maybe," he said.

It had clicked. He was avoiding answering her question for a reason and that reason was because she was right. Her jaw dropped slightly as she scrunched her nose and decided to hit him in the arm again, "Your calling me a bad kisser!!" She exclaimed, ignoring the fact that a few people had just walked passed them down the halls, "Whats next Jeremy? Are you gonna tell me I wasn't worth it too?" Rachel asked, crossing her arms in front of her chest and waiting for an answer.

Jeremy looked at her with a raised eyebrow "No, I didnt say that, did i?" he asked her. He didnt mean to say she was a bad kisser. When they were together, he didnt think that at all. He looked at her, and back at the floor. All he meant was that he thought she didnt want him to feel anything in the kiss, so she kissed him badly. He even tried to make their kiss good, putting in all of his passion, but he guessed she just wanted to prove him wrong. "No I wont. Because it was. I wouldnt have known that we werent supposed to be like this" he said.

"So you think i ripped you off then?" She asked with another questioning look, trying to figure out if he would make up his mind or not, "...Just so you wouldn't feel anything?" There'd always be those 'what ifs...' and regrets to things she had done, but she saying that there would never be anything there would have been a lie. With Craig, or Jeremy, just because she had dated both of them before, there would always be that 'little something' that was there. That tension that made her wonder what would have happened if they had forgotten about the 'just friends,' plan.

Jeremy looked down at the floor and back up at her when she asked a question. He wasnt going to give in so easily, or that was what he had thought. He sighed heavily, "Yes," he finally answered. He had given up. She had put him on the spotlight. What else was he supposed to think when she kissed him like that anyways? He looked away, and then said, "I bet that if this was Craig's position you wouldn't be discussing this," He sounded a little angry then.

The girl standing before Jeremy, rarely won a fight. She caved in too easily, was a complete sap and just all round hated it, but when someone pushed her to the limit and underestimated her, it was as if she had no choice but to fight for what she believed. In this situation, what else was she supposed to do? They weren't dating, and haden't been for the past few months, so why would he want her to make him feel anything anyways?
With a sigh, Rachel unclenched her fists, and rolled her head back, "What do you want from me Jeremy? Do you want me to make you feel something?...." But once again she was cut short of continuing what she wanted to say. How he could even compare himself to Craig or even put her in such a position was beyond her, and had only got her tangled in his web even more.
Almost speechless as to what to say, Rachel just stood there staring at him, her eyes wide in disbelief, "I...Why are you comparing yourself to Craig?" She questioned, trying desperatly to figure out what he was trying to get at. Did he honestly think that Rachel would be so stupid as to stoop so low and compare the two?
