It was surprising how one minute you could feel totally empty inside, and then the next, you feel complete. Life worked in weird ways...Relationships worked in weird ways...Friends worked in weird ways...You name it. In the past few weeks, there had been more than enough drama in Rachel's life. What with hooking up with Luke, fighting with Haley in the cafeteria and the gym, not to mention Craig admitting to Rachel that he had feelings to her...She was glad to finally be alone.
If you were standing by the front doors of the school, and you had the eyes of an eagle, you could surely spot the senior laying in the field with her hands rested on her stomache as she stared aimlessly at the clouds above. School had let out a mere half hour ago, and Rae had held back from going home once again. Lately she'd been sticking around the school more than often, proving that she didn't want to be around anything or anyone. But that dream was far from realistic when she heard the soft pitter patter of feet come up behind her.
Staying in her laying position, an emotionless look on her face, Rae kept herself quiet as a shadow blocked out the sun overhead. and a face appeared in view looking down at her.
