Essie was stopping by the Lovell Residence so she could just try to help out her good friend. She was in her normal attire, and she had just knocked on the door, and now she was waiting. All that she knew she had heard from ear, things were once again confirmed by both Craig and Haley, they were over. There was a feeling that she wanted to take the moment, be with Craig while everyone else got a different guy, leaving Craig in the dust, but that would be betrayal of Haley.
She got her thoughts off of this, and started to stare at the door, waiting for Haley to come to open it, so they could just hang out with each other for awhile. At this point, she felt that she had to keep things away from her best friend, that didn't feel all that right at all, but she had to. Right now, all that she could do was try to be there, and stay single as she waited for everything to clam down.

Haley was lying on the sofa in her sweats watching rubbish daytime TV when she heard a knock at the door. She didnt look her best, her hair was a mess and her clothes were creased and messy, she didnt care anymore. Walking over to the door she pulled it open and saw Essie standing there, "hey" was all she managed to muster as she returned to her seat leaving Essie to follow.

Essie nodded a little bit as she let herself in through the door, and shut it behind her, seeing Haley in front of her, just following her, and then sitting besides her. "Hey Hales. Well, I just thought that I would see how my best friend is doing." This left very awkward, but she didn't let it show as she continued to speak. "I'm alright, the stuff that is going on is finally starting to get at me." Smiling faintly, she didn't know how to tell the truth to her, besides avoiding the Craig subject.

"Right...." Haley simply said she didnt know what to say right now and she wasnt ready for an emotional talk she just couldnt handle it yet she also didnt feel like letting her hair down and forgetting everything

"Want to raid the freezer and get some ice cream?" She asked, maybe watching a movie, and eating a little bit of ice cream would settle the awkwardness between them. "Maybe watch a movie, help us take our mind off of everything." The truth was that she didn't know what else to do, she couldn't tell her about how she felt about Craig, especially in the shape that Haley was in now.

"I think Luke and I finished it the other day" she replied, that was another thing playing on her mind she still couldnt get over what had happened with her and Luke and now she was worried about their friendship

"Oh, then we should do something at least. Maybe? Well, let me think..." It took her awhile, and she had to think about what she should do, because she knew that her friend wasn't willing to talk about emotional things just yet. "The pills that the doctors were to give me came in, and now I can do PE and all of that without worrying as much." Maybe, this subject would lead away from the relationship problems that all of them were having at least.

"Right...thats good" she said coldy it wasnt that she didnt care about Essie, far from it but she couldnt handle her problems right now, sounds bitchy? maybe but she just didnt have the strength

She ignored the coldness, and she nodded a little bit, and she wondered what all of the things Haley was hiding away from her. What secrets did she have to keep away from her best friend? "Haley I trust you, and I understand that these things are hard, but you have to figure out a way out of this." After saying this, she hoped that what she said was right, and that it didn't piss her off or something along those lines.

"Ok..." Haley snapped as she span to face her friend "So my boyfriend dumps me then i find out he ahs feelings for one of my best friends, then I kiss Jeremy and realise I have feelings for him then Rachel and I fight I flip out and almost attack some girls at school...oh and lastly I get drunk and do something really stupid with my best friend....wanna explain a way out of that one Essie?" she asked as she stared her out

Essie let out a sigh, and she knew that it wouldn't be at all easy to fix that, but there was a way to, it could just take time. "Tell Rachel and that best friend that your sorry that you did that, and talk to Jeremy so you can work things out with him. As for Craig, he's having a hard time, he is really confused, just give him time." All she hoped was that she didn't cause anymore problems for Haley, and that meant that she would have to, once more have her feelings for Craig be waisted for her friend's sack.
