"No your supposed to be my boyfriend...You dont have to do all this," Rachel said as she sat back so her food could be placed in front of her. The dinner matched with the candlelit table and roses was something you only saw in movies, not on a first outting with your boyfriend or girlfriend. As the 'waiter' left with the tray, she leaned forward and looked at what was placed in front of her. Even the food looked gorgeous and that was saying something. Pointing to it, she looked across the table at Luke again, "See now this...This is perfection." She laughed slightly and picked up her napkin to set it on her lap.

"no perfection is staring me back in the eyes right now" he smiled as his eyes locked onhers while he placed his napkin on his lap and picked up his fork and knife. with a smile to her he then looked down and began to cut the piece of meat that lay infront of him. the waiter came back with a glass of wine for the two of them before either could try the food. with a nod to the waiter that had left the table once again, Luke put down his fork and knife only to raise his wine glass over to Rachel "cheers..this is to us"

How Luke came up with things like 'perfection is staring me back in the eyes' was something Rachel found hard to comprehend. Not only was he different from other guys she had dated, but he was the only guy that did something to her that she couldnt even put into words. It was like...He could smile at her from across the room, and her heart would melt. Thats how he made her feel. This was just the icing on the cake.
Raising her glass as she tried to keep her cheeks from turning red, Rachel reached across the table and touched her glass with his, "...To us," She nodded, retreating her glass to her side of the table and taking a sip of her wine before placing it back on the table and eating a vegetable with the use of her fork.

Luke was sitting down and his was weak in the knees. thats what her smile did to him. it gave him chills in a good way of course. looking into her eyes was like seeing a world that you travelled millions of miles to see but could never find. her smile was something he wish he could freeze time just to admire longer.
as their glasses touched, Luke pulled his back and took a sip beofre placing it beside his plate and using his fork to pick up a small piece of steak in which he put in his mouth

(ok speeding it up lol cuz this will take forever otherwise)
As the two enjoyed their dinner, talking, laughing, staring into each others eyes, there was no suitable way to say to explain how she felt. If she this was anyone else, they would have felt the same way she did. On top of the world with the one guy she never wanted to leave her side. The dinner was delicious, the roses were romantic, and Luke...Rachel couldnt even describe him.
Finishing off the last of her meal, she placed her fork and knife next to her and picked her glass up to finish off the last of her wine, "That was delicious Luke..." she said with another smile, as the sun was coming to the last of its light. They still had time to catch the sunset from the beach.

[just thinking that]
as Luke finished off the last bit of vegetables left on his plate, he lifted his napkin off his lap and pressed it against his mouth to wipe off his lips. as he dropped it to the table and placed his fork and knife on his plate, Luke picked up the wine glass infront of him and took one final sip before putting back down on the table.
"ya...it was excellent" he smiled looking over into the eyes of a curly haired girl. the light seemed to touch her eyes in a way that remarkable, it was like you couldnt put it into words. taking his blue eyes off of hers for a moment he looked to the sun then back to her "would you like to go watch the sunset?" he asked

Taking the napkin off her lap, wiping her lips as Luke did and placing it on the table next to her plate, Rachel nodded, "Love to..." Compared to every other moment she spend with Luke, the mood now was one of sophistication, yet had that romantic topping.
Pushing her chair back, Rae stood up and straightened her top, moving to Luke's side of the table, waiting for her to join him, "Were just in time too..." She said, looking out over the water as the sun was movin behind its low waves.

standing up, Luke walked over to Rachel only to take her hand softly in his and walk towards a small cliff that was perfect for watching the sunset on the day that had past them by. as he helped Rachel up, Luke already had a blanket set for them to lay down on and another blanket incase they were cold.

Following alongside Luke, hand in his, Rachel spotted the blanket he had set up for them. It seemed that he had everything planned out from the beginning. The dinner, the sunset, it was like everything was following his orders. Removing her sandals from her feet, she sat down on one side of the blanket, leaving room for Luke to sit next to her.

Luke took off his sandals as well and took a seat next to Rachel. putting his arm around her shoulders as he moved closer to her. Luke couldnt help but actually think that this was the best night of his life, he was with the girl of his dreams and it was so romantic. he was at a loss for words one could say.

Smiling, as he pulled her into him, Rachel brought her legs to her chest so she was in a comfortable sitting position, and turned her gaze to the sunset ahead of them. The sight before them was one you couldnt put into words. It was as if she couldn't put anything into words because they haden't said anything to eachother since leaving the table. Through the corner of her eyes, she gazed at Luke. He'd done so much to make the night perfect, that there was no way in heaven she could have thanked him.
"It's perfect Luke..." She whispered, leaning her head on his shoulder gently, as her eyes returned to the sea, "Your perfect..." She smiled to herself before pausing and waiting to see if he'd reply.

kissin the top of her head as she laid it against his shoulder, Luke's gaze fell from the sunset to her. with the perfect evening between the two of them what could top it off? another surprise...yes but not for her eyes. Luke rested his head gently on hers as he gave the last night's surprise. " i love you..." he whispered into the night as his eyes watched the final bit of sunlight fade away into the night

What Rachel was expecting was far from the reply she had gotten from Luke. A kiss or...an agreement would have been more than enough but hearing those three Word s that Rachel haden't heard from anyone else? She couldn't be sure if that was the cherry topper of the night, or something she should walk away from. Lifting her head as the sun tucked itself behind a blanket of waves, she looked at Luke, without saying a Word . She didn't know what to say to him. That had to be the last surprise of the night. As she tried to comprehend the Word s that let slip from his lips, she let a small smile form on her lips. Leaning in, she put her hands on the back of his neck kissed him with every bit of passion she had in her. ( ?? lol i dont know what to write)

Luke wasnt a reciever. he enjoyed making others happy so it came as somewhat of a surprise when Rachel's lips passionately kissed his. raising both eyebrows for a second before relaxing and falling backward as he took Rachel with him. his intention was not get Rachel to sleep with him but to make her feel special. as he closed his eyes on cue, Luke kissed back deepening the kiss between the two

The connection between the two was unmistakable, even after all the obstacles they had to overcome. Following his lead, Rachel fell back with Luke, her lips not leaving his for even an instant. After a moment, Rachel pulled back, completely silent, still trying to grasp it all.
