Essie hopped out of the passager side of the car, and looked around at both sides of the street before crossing and heading into the mall. She didn't wait until she got inside since it was pretty cold outside, and it wouldn't have been the best idea to be out there for too long.
Looking around the enterence area of the mall she spotted a bench where she could sit at for a couple of seconds before he got there. She got out her notebook, and started to write a little bit about what was going on in her head through a song. Her mind was starting to think about taking a chance at love, but she didn't want to get hurt.
Maybe not a whole lot of people saw the truth behind everything, and she seemed to have a lot of wisedom in her earlier years when she said she was just waiting for the right guy. Why was it that it had to change now of all times? That was one thing that she couldn't answer in a simple form, and the question was writen sercetly in the song.

Luke followed shortly after and found her sitting down like he had in the park "de javu?" he laughed looking at her. it was the same thing as in the park only this time they knew each other a little more. "im gunna head into West49 to get a new board...you coming or are we gunna meet up somewhere instead?"

Essie smiled at him knowing that it was the same thing as what had happened in the park accept it was inside instead of out. "You could call it that." She said smiling at him. "Sounds good to me, and I can come along with you since it would do no harm and it might help get things off my mind." At that moment she didn't want to say what was on her mind, and she knew that he probably knew her well enough to have the idea that she was thinking a lot in that head of her's.

"i will call it that then" he smirked looking over at her. "come on then...lets get going" as he helped her up then walked beside her to the West49 store. stepping in..Luke looked around. waved to his buddy that worked there. his buddy took a deck out from under the desk. it was an originial because Luke was the one who designed it. looking back at Essie he smirked once again and showed it to her. "do you like it?" he asked as he flipped it over to show her the spactacular graphics of music and words and in the center in a large font it read "GO THE DISTANCE" which was Luke's moto

"Yup..." She said and then she felt herself getting help up off of the bench and laughed slightly as she was dragged along to West49. She smiled calming down her heart rate taking a slight deep breath after the fast pace of things. Looking around she saw the disign was very original, and looked at his smirked and raised her eyebrows a little bit. "Did you make all of this?" She asked slightly in owe, and then she calmed down her expression again. "Yeah, of course, it's pretty cool actually." Her being a member of student concial she made things sometimes, but not like that.

"ya...ya i did" he nodded holding it in his hands. of course it had taken a while to make on the board this is why Luke had to pick it up now instead a few weeks ago but he was happy with it either way. lookig at the masterpiece he kept his smirk "thanks...another one of my passions...drawing" he shrugged with a little laugh as he took out his credit card and gave it over to his buddy who then did everything. buying the board and a new pair of wheels for it he smiled taking the plastic card back

She shook her head, and she knew that he had a talent that she didn't have, but she considered writing in a way drawing without making a picture right on the spot. "Yeah, my passion writing is like drawing something, but you don't actually make the picture, you give the words for it and other's get to create what they want out of it." Then she watched him pay for the wheels that he was buying for his skateboard, and she smiled a little bit.

"Yeah, we can head to the music store that is in the mall, and then we can head over to really any place we feel like going." After she said this she shrugged a little bit, and started to head in the direction of the music place since that was like her second or third home depending on what you counted of course.

"lets head over there" he nodded with a smirk as he carried his purchased goods in a bag that hung off his cruled fingers. Luke followed behind Essie as they headed for the music store in the mall. there was many to choose from so Luke stayed behind her waiting to see which one it would be

She antered a store that seemed to not be as popular as most of the music stores, but she came in there for a very good reason. It was labeled Anderson Studio and one of her cousins owned the store since they didn't live too far away from Crystal Falls themselves. She gave a wave to the fimliar person at the counter, and then she started to browse the music. "All my family loves music as you can tell." As she said this she laughed and kept going through the different CDs.

"If you ask this is my cousin's place and they are my cousins on my father's side and the eldest of them decided to open this place up since they don't life all that far from here actually." She gave him a smile after saying that because she knew that it wasn't everyday that you ran into a person like her. "I'm not rich or anything like that though, just middle-class like the rest of my family members are. It took him a lot of his own money to open up this place." She didn't meantion that it took a lot to keep it alfoat too.

"godo to know..." he smirked looking at her as he walked around the small store, looking at all the various types of music he came across the punk/rock and looked through. seeing most of the bands and artists he listened to Luke had to comment "like the taste in music...and the posters" he said as saw various artists Luke enjoyed listening to on the walls

"Yeah, our family has pretty much the same interests pretty much, and there are some people that like some of the other stuff but rock is mostly our thing." She shrugged a little bit, and looked through the CDs and was happy to find that there were new ones in the collection of CDs that were both new and old. "Pretty cool huh?" She asked as she started to head to the back part of the store heading for her own little section.
